I'm looking at you, under 21 crowd. Article in the Las Vegas Weekly reveals the owners of our favorite Downtown eatery, Kabob Korner, leased the vacant space across the street to open a hookah lounge by the end of the month. Maharaja is going to be an all ages lounge so as Imtiaz puts it "they can enjoy weekends too". As the article mentions, this demographic is underrepresented but for good reason, because they f#&k things up for the rest of us. Reading the article's description of the what the owners have planned (a swinging loveseat and a 6 foot hookah lamp?!) and knowing they are good, decent, hard working entrepreneurs...I really hope the youngin's appreciate it and not ruin it for themselves and rest of us. Maybe the 21&over hipster crowd that frequents the area influences youngin's to shy away.
